Casting
A minimum of seven singers is required, but as many as 15 individuals could take part in educational settings such as opera workshops. Inclusive casting is encouraged.

Performance time
The full operetta consists of two acts, each one lasting approximately one hour. However, the 17 semi-independent scenes can be performed individually or in groups. They range in length from 4 to 10 minutes each.
